I just got an email on a google group I'm in with a bunch of friends from someone looking for a photographer for a Tesla event!
Says they need "a decent photographer for a Tesla event on April 1. It involves test driving cars, hipster beer, burgers, and digital photography".
Sounds like a really casual event that doesn't have a big budget so they're just looking for someone who's decent with a camera, by no means a professional. I toy around with my DSLR at car events and while on vacation, so I'm REALLY hoping there isn't a more serious photographer in the group who snags it and that I get it!

Yup, hoping it works out - I do work full-time and it's on a weekday, just hoping the timing isn't too difficult.
Also, it's not like some huge Tesla launch event - sounds like just some corporate event a group at the company is throwing and just wants someone to snap photos...which I'm fine with, as long as there are cars!

Ha, honestly no idea - yet to hear back confirming that they want me to help out, but I live in the SF Bay area and it's local, so I'm assuming it'll either be in Menlo Park.
